We as humans seem to be the only creatures which are out of balance with this natural duality. Lord of Light, to me, isn't in the same league. Somehow this darkness when recognized, and worked with, can actually be used in a way that makes the lights even more defined and bright. Ahuramazda is a wise master, ultimate God, absolute good, wisdom and recognition, the creator of the Sun, stars, darkness and light, human beings and animals and all mental and physical activities. That light and darkness is expressed in many different ways in the varying life forms on our planet. To one and all I gave the power to build or destroy, bring joy or pain. Jack Fetch crosses paths with the Steel General and decides he must die! One among you has chosen darkness and pain. Overall, Roger Zelazny is my favorite SF author, on the strength of his short stories, Isle of the Dead, Call Me Conrad, and Creatures of Light and Darkness. Then a voice spoke from all around, “I created light and darkness. When God created heaven and earth he said, “Let there be light, and there was light, and the light was good.” He separated it from the darkness.
